When does the patch that introduces 7 hero parties launch? - Guild Wars Forums

I stopped following GW news for a while so I've been out of the loop. Title says it all, when will be able to use 7 heroes in a party?

Seeing as the dervish update was announced 1 year ago and still has not happened, I would not count on it before 2012

Pretty sure that it was said that it's coming early this year, and that the Dervish update is a higher priority and will come first.

So, fairly soon, but no date.

Don't expect the dervish update until after we are given a preview of the dervish skills. So having said that, the hero update won't come out until after the dervish skill preview (I think we are getting one but I can't understand why we haven't seen it yet - surely they are finished with the theorycrafting of the skills by now) and after the actual dervish skill balance update. Then we will get the Feature Build.

just keep an eye on the forums, and it may help to read now and then

the "early 2011" may change, though (and tbh, i think that'll happen)

hope you got enough info, as we dont know more than this

Oh wow, for some reason I was under the impression that the seven hero content would be coming after WOC. I'm sure the new teams and Derv update will keep everyone nice and busy until they re-visit Cantha.

I hope they only implement this for things like DOA, UW and deep/urgoz. No need for regular stuff.

Honestly couldn't care less.. In my opinion the 7 hero update shouldn't come until after GW2 release, and Derv update, don't give a rat's ass.. Wanna see an ele update first...

I'd personally guess after the Dervish Update, which I'm guessing will be after "Winds of Change," which I'd say will be after Cantha New Year or the around the time of the Dragon Festival.

Well, if you've read anything else in this thread, you'd see that the Dervish update is supposed to come first, then Embark Beach/seven heroes, then WoC.

I want al those updates fast!!! I never can choose what heroes to take, i like the most of them. I really liked hearts of the north and war in kryta so i hope winds of chance is going to be even better. And i ofcours would like the dervish update, they really need to do more damage, without an attack you onye hit like 5 damage on a normal lvl 24 enemie warrior
